Letter from Fr. Fullerton on the Poor Souls

During the month of November, the Church asks us to redouble our prayers and sacrifices for the souls in Purgatory. She asks us to help remit the punishment incurred by their sins, already forgiven.

I would like to renew our annual acceptance of the names of your deceased loved ones at the Regina Coeli House. Those names will be placed on our chapel’s altar for every Mass offered here during the month of November. Your names may be submitted through this online form or by email to [email protected].

We do this out of charity for you, so no stipend is necessary. Should you like to submit a gift offering to the Regina Coeli House, visit  www.sspx.gifts/HolySouls. Your generosity is always appreciated and remembered in our daily rosary.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that by visiting a cemetery and praying for the deceased during the month of November, you may gain a plenary indulgence for the faithful departed. Please see this page for specific instructions about those indulgences.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to relieve the sufferings of the poor souls. Pray fervently for them during the month of November. Invite your friends and family to pray as well. This devotion is an act of true friendship, true charity, a powerful antidote to our current selfish age.

Thank you in advance for your generosity towards the holy souls in Purgatory. Thank you as well for any contribution you make to the Regina Coeli House. May God reward your efforts.

In Christ,
Fr. John Fullerton
