The Feast of Christ
the King was celebrated on the last Sunday of October,
the 23rd, with many of the SSPX's chapels in the United
States offering an outdoor
procession of the Blessed Sacrament.
Such processions bear
public witness to Our Lord's kingship and thus imitate
the royal processions once commonly held by monarchs.
These regal processions were held not only for
potentates to show themselves to their subjects, but
also to allow the people to demonstrate their respect
and unity with those holding state offices.
In St. Mary's, KS,
the feast day was prolonged with an outdoor festival in
honor of Our Lord's Kingship.
Here we present some
images and a video of these events that glorify Our
Kingly Lord and God.
